Itinerary

After having a lavish breakfast, we travel on a bus through the scenic highway towards Dumre and depending on the traffic conditions; it may take about 4 hours. The scenic road portrays the best of the hilly region of Nepal and showcases its rivers and greenery. Bandipur sits on top of a hill, and it garners the attention of travelers by displaying its rich Newari culture and traditional buildings. The city was a vital stop on the India-Tibet trade route for many years until it was bypassed the Prithivi Highway. As you step into this beautiful city, one thing that will surely fascinate you is the blend of nature, culture and how the city still managed to maintain its majestic appearance throughout the years. We explore the numerous landmarks of this city which include the Padma library and to its opposite the Bindebasini temple which is a temple dedicated to the Goddess Durga.
